These naturally hand dyed 100 % silk scarves are each 35 x 35", and can be worn in multiple ways (as a bandana, neckerchief, blouse, capelet, shawl, wrap top, etc). The silks are naturally dyed using plant powder extracts from Botanical Colors, a natural dye production studio based in Seattle, Washington. Each silk has unique color variations and markings.
Yellow, orange and red silks created using Madder Root; blue silks using Organic Indigo; and purple silks were achieved from a personal experimentation of both. Olive green silks created with Dyer’s Polypore (Phaeolus schweinitzii) mushrooms.
